I miss....TV

Yeah, as I sit here, I've just been lamenting the fact "Boston Legal" hasn't been on for awhile. Twas a great. It hasn't been cancelled, but it won't be on again until the new TV season starts.

Pity.

What? Jordan, you don't want to read my incredibly insightful game theory and politics? Or the masterpiece Biophysics of Computation?

I prefer fictionionish type books. It could be factual I guess... As long as it's lying about the facts. I actually want to read a dostoyevsky book. What would be recommended?

I would say to start with Notes from Underground first; it is the shortest of all of Dostoevsky's novels. While yes, it is intense, but it outlines most of Dostoevksy's major themes. Plus, I don't know if it [reading Notes] would have the same effect if you read say Brothers K or Crime first.

So in sum, I'd say read in this order:
Notes
Crime and Punish
Brothers K

While you could start with Brothers, it is a long book, and it's the culmination of Dostoevsky's work, so I think it'd be good to get a feel for him before reading it.

So Jordan, I can get you those books whenever I see you next...I shall remember!

Also, if you're looking for another good read, I can borrow you my Hemingway books.

oooh! Harry Potter man! Those books are great!

Adam,
do you have my aunt's Brother's K? I wanted to read it, but she couldn't find it, then my uncle said he may have borrowed it to you...but that is my family, so you never know. Any ideas? Nicki

Yes, well I know I will see you Tuesday, correct? Maybe Sunday, but that's a maybe. I think I'll go with Notes. I'm fine with being damaged. It adds more character, or so they say.
